An actor-focused workshop where participants will receive practical guidance on pursuing acting as a career or hobby, honing their skills, and navigating the entertainment industry.


Meet the Presenter, Camie Carpenter

Camie was the first honoree of the distinguished, Women in Film Award, presented during San Diego Film Week in 2019. She just recently passed the crown due to the pandemic. She works with professional and up and coming actors and models of all ages, appearing on anything from local furniture store or casino commercial to national commercial to a Co-star and Recurring roles on network TV or a H&M model or Co-starring with Bruce Willis on a Netflix movie. “Camie’s devotion to her clients is sincere and ethical, she opens doors for her talent and obtains opportunities that may possibly secure their big break, but it’s up to the actor to follow through. I am blessed to work with people like Camie, she is a credit to the entertainment industry,” says Academy Member, Tom Logan, DGA. A former child model, she is a graduate of the University of Southern California. In addition to over two dozen casting credits she is an award winning Producer. Her clients have won the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress Best Child Actor, Best Writing and Best TV Show over the years at the San Diego Film Awards, along with many of her talent being named as San Diego’s A List Actors. She is a sought after speaker at industry events, local high school and University acting programs.


Participants will receive an Award of Completion for each workshop they attend.
2.0 quarter units will be given for those who attend the full week of sessions.
