Las Gorditas

Directed by Caed Vidrio

A mother revisits the memories of afternoons spent sharing gorditas with her son, when conversation, routine, and affection seemed to make time stand still. As those everyday moments take on a new meaning, food becomes a bridge between what was lived and what remains. Las Gorditas is an intimate story about family bonds, memory, and the quiet weight that absence can leave behind.
