Laura Skokan has just finished her MFA in filmmaking from San Diego State University. She has directed and written seven short films during her time in the program. One of them, The Fanatics, was selected for the Center for Asian American Media and the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Her film Radiant (a semi-theatrical, not exactly biopic about Marie Curie) screened at NewFilmmakers NY. She is in development on a feature film The Quo. She also has a penchant for making videos starring puppets, but that’s neither here nor there for the moment…
