When West coast city boy, Brandon Holmes decides to escape the grief that has been following him, he decides to make his way across the Southwestern US to Colorado’s Sand Dunes for a meteor shower in the derelict Ford Bronco he affectionately calls “Jack”. His plans, however, are upended when he meets Amber, an outspoken young artist looking to escape her small town, and Hughie, a gentle Mormon missionary leaving his mission field to see his dying father.
