Pat Brown is living her motto is “Life is not a dress rehearsal.” You may remember her as Chief Weather Anchor on ABC-Channel 10 and NBC 7. Now Pat is leading trips for and is active on social media at She volunteers with Alzheimer’s San Diego ( and indulges her love of adoptable felines at the San Diego Humane Society ( Life is indeed an adventure to Pat. Next on her list? Photographing the Northern Lights and exploring the Galapagos Islands. Until then, any beach in San Diego will do just fine.

Zach Crook started his love of puppetry at the age of 7 after attending a puppet show at the San Deigo Zoo’s Summer Camp. His passion was fueled when he found out that the Puppeteer, Big Joe, was a resident Puppeteer at a puppet theater in Balboa Park. After frequent visits, Big Joe started to mentor Zach and he assisted him with shows whenever possible. At age 12, Zach was honored by becoming the first “child” to be a resident puppeteer at the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater, performing his own shows. With the help of his parents he writes the scripts, sets, and props. Zach has ventured out with his first Independent film, “I’m Not a Dummy” and has worked as a stage Puppeteer at the Disneyland Resort. Some day Zach wants to become an A-lister to the puppetry community and hopes to inspire a younger generation who want to pursue the craft.

Greg Lefevre (“le-FAVE”) is a veteran broadcaster with four decades in network journalism. He is now in private practice as a video producer and media consultant. Greg was a national Emmy winner for his work with CNN. He is an active promoter of the San Diego production community, is a past officer at San Diego Filmmakers and today is a senior contributor for numerous film organizations.



On the heels of last year’s SDFA Best Actor award win for his performance in “Con Boys” (@ConBoysFilm), Jon also starred in the 2017 NATAS PSW Emmy winning Best Film “Mourning Michael,” led an ensemble cast of San Diego’s finest actors in a short film that screened at Festival de Cannes, and has a strong supporting role in the soon to be released one-take feature film “Saviors.” ( Follow Jon at @ActorJonMaxwell or!

Edreace Purmul graduated from San Diego State University’s Film and Business school in 2006. His first debut into the cinema limelight incidentally was also his first film attempt post-graduation. His micro-budget feature film Mozlym (2008) received immediate international acclaim and interest for its controversial and socially conscious appeal. Mozlym received a Nomination for Best Picture in 2008 at the Cairo International Film Festival and won the Audience Favorite award at Riverside International Film Festival. It also competed at International Film Festival Thailand, South Africa Film Festival, and British Film Festival of Los Angeles, where Purmul received multiple nominations for Best First Time Director launching his credibility at the early age of 25. In 2012, Purmul founded SplitWorld Pictures and later wrote and directed The Playground (2017) which won the Best Feature Award at the San Diego Film Awards 2016.


Meosha Bean is a Award winning actress,filmmaker who edits her work. Started filming and acting at the age of 7 years old.After attending acting school,Meosha went on to do feature films,music videos, promotions ect. Meosha Bean is the owner of M.V.B Films, which was established in 2003.Her current projects includes Dark Rises her new short film featuring many talented sag actors. Her very anticipated project Too Close To Home is out now on amazon.She also has worked with many great people in the business and indie talents. Among many she has worked with the legendary pro boxer Roy Jones Jr. Chris Brown, Billy Idol and so much more.

Terry Ross recently received the Excellence in Directing Award at Idyllwild International Film Festival for her first feature film “Carving A Life” which was nominated for 13 awards and which is nominated for Best Feature and is the Audience Choice winner at the San Diego Film Awards. She has been a casting director for several projects, including two which were part of the 2018 San Diego Film Week and is the recipient of the 2017 “Women in Film Award” by the San Diego Film Consortium. Terry is the owner of Acting Professionally where she has coached hundreds of actors on stage and screen, and hosts an annual showcase for the film community. Currently she teaches a bi-annual “Casting and Directing Actors Workshop” for SDSU Film Department and formerly taught for the prestigious Old Globe MFA program. She holds an M.A. in Education from Stanford and an M.F.A. in Directing from University of California, Davis

Ray Campbell is a SAG Award nominee best known for his role of Tyrus Kitt on AMC’s BREAKING BAD and its popular sequel BETTER CALL SAUL. He has also had recurring roles in THE SHIELD; Tyler Perry’s FOR BETTER OR WORSE and numerous other TV shows, films and national commercials. He grew up in San Diego attending the School of Creative and Performing Arts and SD Jr. Theatre, establishing roots in the arts and local theatre scene. He now lives in Los Angeles and is married with 2 children. Look for him this fall returning to his roles on FOX’s THE GIFTED and BETTER CALL SAUL.

David S. Dawson (2016 San Diego Film Award Best Director) has been a San Diego filmmaker for 20 years and has produced and directed over 20 short films. His production group, IntelleXual Entertainment, has been nominated for San Diego Film Awards for four consecutive years earning wins in Best Directing, Best Musical Score, Best Visual Effects, Best Short Film and Spirit of San Diego. David is proud to call San Diego home and is eager to grow as a filmmaker at home and abroad. David is also the host of The IntelleXual Podcast which can be heard on iTunes, GooglePlay and iHeartRadio.

Cristyn has over 15 years of acting experience in numerous national and local commercials, plays, short films, feature films, and in print/modeling work. Cristyn won a “Best Actress” award for her role in the San Diego 48 Hour Film, “Loser”. More credits include a supporting role in the feature film, The Test with Kelly Sullivan, and a recurring role on the TV show Terriers. She has studied with Billy Cowart at WCI Studios, the Groundlings, and The Old Globe Theater. Cristyn works actively as a volunteer in the film community as the Awards and Judge Manager for the San Diego Film Awards hosted by the Film Consortium San Diego.

Tonya Mantooth CEO & Artistic Director, San Diego International Film Festival Founder & Executive Producer, Mantooth Studios An eight-time Regional Emmy award winner with over 60 International Telly and ADDY awards, Tonya is one of the most highly regarded film producers based in San Diego. She is known for her work on National TV Campaigns, award-winning documentaries and has Executive Produced four feature films, including Grave Secrets which became the pilot to the Nickelodeon Series, Dead Time Stories. As CEO and Artistic Director of the San Diego Intl Film Festival, Tonya is passionate about bringing extraordinary films and filmmakers from around the world to San Diego. Tonya and the festival team have grown the festival over 500%. The five-day festival features 120+ film screenings, parties and the red carpet Celebrity Tribute. Keith Russell is a Marine Corps Veteran, Teacher and Independent TV/FILM Producer from Chicago, Illinois. Graduated the Los Angeles Film School in 2013 with a desire to take what he had learned and add to a growing San Diego Film Community. He is the producer of 2 local web series entitled San Diego Unveiled & Living in North County and radio producer of the podcast Ask Mama G. He was the Director and Host of Palomar Live Season 2, where he received an Official entry for the 2016 Student Production Awards. His hard work earned him an honorable mention as a San Diego Film Consortium 2015 Volunteer of the year. This year he is the Site schedule coordinator, Post Awards Host, Presenter and the Red Carpet stage manager for San Diego Film Awards.

SDSU graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Women’s Studies, part time foster mom in a dog rescue organization. Diana originally started in marketing with a social media page for her two maltese @Bradley_and_Chandler which eventually amassed a large following. Unable to deny her knack for social media she recently left her engineering job to manage the marketing for La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic, a women owned, women ran, local business which gives back to the community in many ways.

Joe Castanho is the founder and director of Preposterous Films and producer of the San Diego Film Wards. Joe has earned a number of awards for his preposterous films but finds it more rewarding to entertain and engage his audience.

Korah Isabella Mohr is a 17 year-old vocalist, actress, and makeup artist from Orange County, California. She is known for her lead role as Roxy Stone in the San Diego feature film, “Unbreakable Bond.” She is also a talented makeup artist and has provided services for many music videos, movies, dances, and weddings. Hello everyone! My name is Taylor Landress, I am eighteen years old and I have been entertaining for as long as I can remember. From presenting skits to my family all throughout my childhood, to quoting commercial slogans waking through the mall at two years old, acting and entertaining people has always been a passion of mine. I did theatre all throughout my childhood as well but I really fell in love with film in my mid-teenage years. I have done multiple short films, PSA’s, commercials and even my first feature being Unbrekable Bond. Instead of going away for college I am going to Grossmont College and taking online classes so I can truly put my whole heart and self into my acting career!

Tiburcio is the internet’s favorite Mexican uncle and compadre. He became famous on social media after a series of videos of him dancing (Paisa Danza) and snapping at kids who play PokemonGo (Pokemon vs. Pokemon Go), went viral on Facebook. His videos have been going viral ever since. In 2017, Tiburcio (and Eddie G!) won the prestigious TECLA award for “Best Facebook Creator”



Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado. Skied competitively in the USSA circuit for many years while also dancing with the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, but decided to pursue a Business Career and moved to San Diego 4 years ago. I play in a local blues band on the weekends and surf as much as I can.




Actor, author and producer Peter Sherayko has appeared in over 50 films, 100 television shows and 50 stage plays from Tombstone to Cody: An Evening with Buffalo Bill. Peter was one of the executive producers on 2015’s Bone Tomahawk. So far, Peter has produced seven shows with three more in the works, written five books and created a CD of poetry. Peter is a bit of a character, well known for his Western look, cigar in hand and dog by his side. Peter formed Caravan West Productions, the largest and best company to bring quality to the Hollywood Western and provide today’s demanding film audience the most authentic product possible. Together, they offer multiple services for films, television and commercials, including a 2400 acre ranch location, historically correct props, sets, costumes, and horses. Sherayko is recognized as an historian, appearing in numerous Wild West Tech episodes for the History Channel and serving as technical consultant and supplier to both History Channel and Discovery Channel. He technical advised several films and stunt coordinated six. A body of Western related programming on both sides of the camera draws upon Peter’s knowledge of the 19th century up to the 1920s to supply the weapons and props demanded by numerous film makers for their historical re-creations.

Christopher Canole is a SAG actor, WGA writer and IATSE set photographer know locally for his appearances on Silk Stalkings, Renegade and Apollo 13. He created the charity cosplayer Dude Vader to volunteer for charities throughout Southern California including Make-A-Wish and Ronald McDonald House. As a founding member of Star Wars Steampunk Universe Dude Vader is © and TM with Lucasfilms and Disney receiving the Hollywood Costume Designers Guild “Best Group Costume” award at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con International. Born and raised in St. Louis to a musician father and artist mother, Lisa fell in love with acting at an early age. She took up residence in SoCal at 19 with aspiration of acting as a career. “Life” had other ideas, but that dream never faded. So, after her kids were raised and in college she decided to pursue that dream again!
