We’re bringing out San Diego and LA organizations to do educational workshops during first-ever SD Film Week. This includes workshops from the SD City Special Events and Filming Office, Veterans in Film and Television, San Diego Filmmakers, SAG-AFTRA, New Media Rights, San Diego Entertainment and Sports Lawyers, Film Geeks and the Amalgamated Grommets!

    Film Geeks SD gathers together programmers from San Diego Latino Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and Horrible Imaginings Film Festival to provide filmmakers with a checklist of things to improve their chances of getting into film festivals. You can talk with festivals programmers about what they look for in film submissions and provide insights into what programming a festival entails. Film Geeks SD gathers together programmers from San Diego Latino Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and Horrible Imaginings Film Festival to provide filmmakers with a checklist of things to improve their chances of getting into film festivals. You can talk with festivals programmers about what they look for in film submissions and provide insights into what programming a festival entails.
